KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting – Preparation/ review of Schedules, IRDA reporting, Shareholder reporting and Management reporting including IND AS based reporting etc. Compliance – Understanding of IRDAI regulations and continuous assessment towards compliance and study of new circulars, update to management with action pls. Investment Committee – Preparation of IC meeting agenda, data for the deck, other items to be taken up, review of Standard Operating Procedures, Investment Policy, Minutes of the meeting Managing Audits – Support to Concurrent Auditors and Statutory Auditors by providing timely data and ensuring successful completion of the same Investment Operations – Ensure NAV is generated accurately on day to day basis and all trades are settled without fail. Settlement – Settlement of trades, KYC management, Bank signatories update etc. Investment Performance analysis - Timely and accurate reporting of performance numbers. Investment Risk Monitoring - Ensure timely reporting of Investment Risk related information Supervise Middle office and related Activities - Ensure all policies shall be updated as per required/changed regulations . Ensure adherence to IP and SOP and support front office in ensuring no deviation to IP and SOP Management of Derivative desk - Expansion of derivative program with new hedging tools. Support in New Assets - Ensure prompt and timely action in implementing new assets classes. Identify opportunities for Automation and process simplification and lead large scale projects within Finance

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

NAV computed and processed daily without any errors. All trades settled timely and no failed deals. Timely submission of reports in line with regulatory and management requirements and continuous efforts to reduce time taken to make reports with enhanced controls Timely and accurate circulation of deck to Board members. Accurate capture of minutes Zero observations by the auditors Effective management of the derivative desk and relevant reporting Automation, compliance and improvement agenda resulting in improvement of processes. Providing sufficient data to auditors and ensure that the audit is closed without pending issues Effective controls on data

KEY RELATIONSHIPS (INTERNAL /EXTERNAL)

Internal - Investment Front and Middle office, Actuarial, finance, IT including senior leadership

External - Auditors, Bankers, Custody

Desired qualification and experience

MBA/ CA with at least 15-16 years of relevant experience post qualification.

Insurance experience preferred especially in investment back office/ Mid office or CA with experience in reporting and MIS. Team Handling experience. Conversion/ transition of books to IND AS would be an
