Job Description

The SEO & ASO Manager at Pluang is crucial in enhancing the visibility and discoverability of our digital assets. This role focuses on developing and executing strategies for search engine optimization (SEO) and app store optimization (ASO). The specialist will work closely with the marketing, product, and creative teams to ensure that our websites and apps rank highly in search engine results and app store listings, driving organic growth and user engagement.

Responsibilities

Strategy

Growth Hacking: Employ technical growth hacking techniques to boost website traffic and user acquisition, including content repurposing, collaborations, and A/B testing.

SEO Strategy: Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive traffic, and increase conversions.

ASO Strategy: Create and execute ASO strategies to enhance app visibility and rankings in app stores, improving app downloads and user engagement.

Keyword Research: Conduct extensive keyword research to identify opportunities and optimize content for both SEO and ASO.

Execution:

On-Page SEO: Optimize website content, asset pricing pages and other critical content to outperform competitors.

Technical SEO: Perform technical audits, enhance site performance, crawlability, indexability, and structure site taxonomy to boost search engine rankings.

Content and Creative Optimization: Collaborate with content creators and the creative team to ensure all content is optimized for SEO and ASO.

A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests to identify the most effective strategies and techniques for driving organic growth.

Performance Improvement: Improve key website and app health metrics, achieving above the 75th percentile and securing top ranks in high-intent keywords.

Reporting & Collaboration:

Performance Tracking & Analysis: Monitor key SEO and ASO metrics, analyze data for actionable insights, and base all recommendations on these insights.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, Creative, and Data teams to ensure data-driven strategies and alignment with business goals.

Communication: Report campaign performance and insights to key stakeholders, providing data-driven recommendations for enhancement.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay Informed & Learn: Stay updated on the latest SEO and ASO trends, algorithms, and best practices, while continuously improving skills through learning opportunities.

Experimentation: Innovate and experiment with new optimization techniques to enhance website traffic and user engagement.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputable institution.

SEO & ASO Experience: Proven experience in developing and executing SEO and ASO strategies, with at least 3-5 years in a similar role.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of SEO and ASO tools, including Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, and app store analytics tools like App Annie, Sensor Tower, and Mobile Action.

Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools like Looker Studio and Excel for advanced keyword-level analysis. Ability to identify trends, benchmark against competitors, and develop actionable insights to improve performance.

Analytical Skills: Proficiency in performance tracking and deriving actionable insights to understand competitive positioning and develop strategies to rank higher.

SEO Knowledge: Well-versed in SEO concepts such as E-E-A-T (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) and YMYL (Your Money or Your Life), along with the latest SEO techniques to growth hack traffic.

Project Management: Excellent project management skills with the ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines, and multitask in a dynamic environment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working effectively with Product, Marketing, Creative, and Data teams.
