The Job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the data science strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data scientists and analysts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-driven opportunities.
  • Design and oversee the deployment of machine learning models and algorithms.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of data insights and reports.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced analytics and data science best practices.
  • Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the data science team.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.

The Profile

Qualifications:

  • Preferably of Indian nationality.
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data science, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful data science projects.
  • Strong expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data mining techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Experience with big data technologies and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
