Position Summary

ASSA ABLOY is looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager with Key Accounting ability of large contractors to help us expand our clientele base for commercial projects in Tamil Nadu region. BDM-Commercial Projects services the needs of existing customers through various integration processes, increasing business opportunities through thought process and making inwards to partnerships.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections. Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships. Managing L&T as a Key Account and increasing ASSA ABLOY share of wallet by thorough mapping of the account. Continuously monitoring the achievement of targets by keeping close check on monthly deliverables. Ensure satisfactory resolution of client queries and concerns in timely manner. Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences. Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings. Enhance productivity and efficiency in the deliverables. Manage sales forecasts and integrate with channel partners to achieve established goals to deliver profitable growth for assigned products. Keep abreast and report on products, categories, innovation, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends. Other related duties as assigned.

Education Qualification & Experience required:

Bachelor of Engineering or Bsc/Bcom with MBA. Proven working experience of 12-14 years as Business Development Manager, Key Accounts Manager, or relevant role in handling commercial projects vertical. Proven sales track record and highly result oriented/ good analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. Proficiency in English. Good Market knowledge of Commercial Developers/Interior Contractors/Door OEMs’ Good communication and negotiation skills. Ability to build rapport with the clientele base. Time management and planning skills.

Additional Information:

Travel extensively in the assigned territory to generate business.
