As a Plant Manager for Hydro Projects at POM Hydro Energy Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing the hydro power projects.You will be leading a team of professionals to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable generation of hydroelectric power.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Overall supervision and management of hydro projects of the company.
  • Liasioning with all the stakeholders including the govt. agencies.
  • Reporting to CEO on daily basis.
  • Submission of MIS on weekly basis.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance and maximize generation.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage budget and resources to achieve operational and financial targets.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of plant personnel.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of the plants.
  • Identify and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

Experience: 12 to 18 years

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • Prior experience in managing hydro power plants.
  • Strong technical knowledge of hydroelectric power generation and plant operations.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements for hydro power plants.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the govt.agencies for all the projects.
