Roles andResponsibilities
  • Configuresall elements of the Kronos application to include: Pay Rules WorkRules Accruals Scheduling WIMs Attendance Access Profilesetc.
  • Accountable for gathering and analyzingbusiness requirement specifications measurements data mappingspolicies business procedures etc. as well as transforming them intocreative solutions within the system.
  • Liaiseswith the Labor Relations team to review Collective BargainingAgreements and update Kronos configuration to accommodate new unionrules and regulations.
  • Generates reports andanalytics of the Kronos data for internal and external customersusing existing or developing new SQL queries or creating newstandard Kronos reports using VisualStudio.
  • Defines technical standards andstandard operating procedures for application configuration toensure clear communication of system setup needs to the Payroll andTime Evaluators.
  • Conducts root cause analysisand develops resolutions for routine to highly complex technicalissues; generates recommendations to avoid and/or minimizeproduction problems and issues.
  • Providesfunctional technical and process expertise to the Human Resourceand Financial Teams on the Kronos application. Countries in scopeUSA Canada and International (Ireland).
  • Analyzes system capabilities dataintegrity and business processes as part of daily activities andmakes recommendations for improvements in order to support a highlyfunctioning Workday HCM system.
  • Liaises betweeninternal HR customers and our IT partners (internal and vendorcontacts).
  • Respond to issues with theappropriate sense of urgency; follow up with customers withresolutions in a timely manner.
  • Maintains andtracks all issues/work using a standard Issue TrackingSystem.
  • Creates detailed functional andtechnical design documents test plans and test cases user trainingdocuments and implementation documentation asnecessary.
  • Works on enhancements and specialprojects as needed.
  • Works independently as wellas in a team environment. Provides mentoring and coaching to otherteam members.
  • Experience of working in TimecardAttestation
  • Proficiency in SQL Query buildingusing Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle with an understanding ofdatabase objects (views triggers stored procedures and functions)and Relational Databaseconcepts.
Requirements
  • Aminimum of 10 years of handson configuration/system administratorexperience in Kronos 8.1 version or greater isrequired;
  • handling all system configuration andsupport of the application itself including WIM and with KronosCloud platform a product of UKG.
  • The purpose ofthis job is to provide application support for the Kronos Cloudplatform.
  • Activities include but are notlimited to troubleshooting user requests orissues
  • Resolving system and data problemsperforming routine system maintenance maintaining error logs andresolving data and interface errors testing system changespreparing design specs and test scripts loading data and reportingwith a special focus on system configuration within the Kronoscloud application.
