Overview: The OracleFinance Functional Consultant plays a crucial role in implementingand supporting Oracle EBusiness Suite financial modules. They areresponsible for understanding business requirements providingfunctional solutions and ensuring the successful delivery offinancerelated projects. This role is essential in maximizing theefficiency of financial processes and improving the overallfinancial management within theorganization.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Participatein and manage the delivery of the Oracle financial modules duringOracle implementationprojects.
  • Operatesindependently to provide quality work products to an engagement.
  • Configure theapplication according to the design decision.
  • Design and test theintegration with other systems.
  • Support the datamigration process from a functional point of view.
  • Take the lead inunderstanding new products or new features.
  • Applies Oraclemethodology and leading practices.
  • Demonstratesexpertise in delivering functional and technical solutions forcomplex customer engagements.
  • Define theimplementation roadmap and produce project estimates with projectmanagers.
  • Writebusiness requirement documents and other functionalrelateddocumentation.
  • Identify functionalgaps and provide corrective actions.
  • Respond to customerqueries and concerns promptly.
  • Perform dailyactivity reporting against plans andschedules.
RequiredQualifications:
  • 515 yearsof professional experience in Oracle ERP implementation projects asa functionalconsultant.
  • Proficiencyin Oracle Financial applications such as General Ledger (GL)Accounts Receivables (AR) Accounts Payables (AP) Cash Management(CM) and Fixed Assets (FA)modules.
  • At least 24endtoend implementation projects experience and involvement incustomer requirement analysis configuration preparing thefunctional design test scripts and assisting the technical team ontheclarifications.
