THE ROLE
At Bombay Sweet Shop, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences through the power of traditional and modern mithai. We’re looking for a Logistics Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about ensuring timely, efficient deliveries for our customers. From Mumbai to Pan India, you will play a key role in overseeing dispatch operations, optimizing delivery routes, and solving logistical challenges to ensure our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.

This role reports to the Director of Operations and is based out of our main outlet in Byculla, Mumbai.

WHO YOU ARE
You’re not just a logistics coordinator—you’re an efficiency expert. You understand the importance of smooth, hassle-free deliveries and know that every step, from order dispatch to customer receipt, matters. You’re proactive, able to solve problems on the fly, and have a keen eye for detail. Whether you’re managing daily shipments in Mumbai or planning Pan India routes, you know how to balance speed with cost-effectiveness, ensuring customer satisfaction at every turn.

You bring at least 2 years of experience in logistics or delivery operations, preferably in a high-demand, fast-paced setting. You’re tech-savvy and are excited about learning new tools and systems to improve operational efficiency. YOUR TEAM
You’ll be part of a dynamic, results-driven team where collaboration is key. Working closely with the Operations, Sales, and Customer Satisfaction teams, you’ll ensure that all deliveries meet our high standards. Your role will be integral to streamlining processes, reducing costs, and enhancing the customer experience from the moment an order is placed to when it arrives at the customer's door.

WHO YOU WILL REPORT TO
You will report directly to the Director of Operations, who will support you in managing logistics, optimizing delivery systems, and improving efficiency across all channels.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Order Dispatch: Oversee and manage daily dispatches of Mumbai and Pan India orders, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate shipments.

  • Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes for same-day orders, balancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Sales, and Customer Satisfaction) to ensure smooth and timely fulfillment of orders.

  • Delivery Coordination: Assign deliveries to in-house riders and third-party vendors, monitor progress, and address any delays or roadblocks.

  • Data Analysis: Use data to assess logistics performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to reduce costs and improve service.

  • Problem Resolution: Quickly resolve any logistical challenges that arise, ensuring orders are delivered without delays or issues.

SKILLS

  • Detail-Oriented: You’ve got a keen eye for detail, ensuring no shipment is missed and every order is processed correctly.

  • Problem-Solver: You’re quick on your feet and can adapt to unexpected challenges in a fast-paced environment.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with logistics software and tools, including MS Excel, and eager to learn new systems.

  • Collaborative: You enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams and are skilled at communicating effectively with both internal and external partners.

  • Logistics Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a logistics or delivery-related role, ideally in a fast-paced setting like Domino’s or similar.

  • City Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Mumbai city routes and traffic patterns, using tools like Google Maps to navigate efficiently.
