Job Title: Procurement Manager

 Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Strategic Partnerships & Corporate Development Manager to lead our procurement function for acquiring used 3-wheeler EVs through various strategic channels. This role involves forging and maintaining high-value partnerships with commercial EV NBFCs, banks, fleet owners, and generating retail customer supply in coordination with the marketing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the automotive industry, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a strong network of industry contacts.
Key Responsibilities:

1.       Lead Procurement Function:

o    Drive the procurement process for used 3-wheeler EVs from various sources, including commercial EV NBFCs, banks, and fleet owners.

o    Identify and develop new supply channels and strategies to increase the availability of used 3-wheeler EVs.

2.       Strategic Supply Partnerships:

o    Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with commercial EV NBFCs, banks, and fleet owners to secure a steady supply of used vehicles.

o    Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with partners to ensure cost-effectiveness and strategic alignment.

3.       Retail Customer Coordination:

o    Collaborate with the online marketing team to generate and capture supply from retail customers.

o    Develop and implement strategies to attract retail customers and enhance the overall supply pipeline.

4.       Cross-Functional Coordination:

o    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including seller operations, inspection, and valuation teams, to ensure procured vehicles are accurately listed and processed on the platform.

o    Oversee the end-to-end process from procurement to deal closure, ensuring timely and efficient transactions.

5.       Relationship Management:

o    Maintain and strengthen relationships with financing partners, fleet owners, and other key stakeholders.


o    Act as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.

6.       Team Coordination:

o    Coordinate with internal teams to align on procurement strategies, operational needs, and performance metrics.

o    Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams to achieve organizational goals.

Desired Qualifications:

·       Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

·       Experience: 5-10 years of strategic partnerships experience in the automotive industry, with a proven track record of managing high-value partnerships and procurement functions.

·       Skills:

o    Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

o    Strong organizational and detail-oriented capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

o    Result-oriented with a demonstrated ability to achieve targets and drive performance.

o    Leadership and management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.

o    In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicle financing, fleet management, and related industry practices.

o    A robust network of commercial vehicle financiers, fleet owners, and industry contacts.
