OverviewThe OperationsManager (Event Tech) plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspectsof event technology operations within the organization. They areresponsible for ensuring the seamless integration of technologyinto various events providing technical support and managing a teamof technicians to deliver exceptional eventexperiences.
Keyresponsibilities
  • Manage and overseeall event technology operations.
  • Collaboratewith clients and event planners to understand technologyrequirements for each event.
  • Lead a team oftechnicians providing guidance motivation and performancemanagement.
  • Coordinate with external vendorsand suppliers to procure necessary equipment andservices.
  • Ensure the setup testing andtroubleshooting of all event technologysystems.
  • Stay updated on the latest eventtechnology trends and make recommendations forimprovements.
  • Oversee the onsite management ofevent technology during events troubleshooting issues as theyarise.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsto ensure seamless integration of event technology with other eventelements.
  • Manage postevent evaluations andanalysis to identify areas forimprovement.
  • Address client feedback andrequirements to continuously enhance the event technologyoffering.
  • Monitor industry trends andcompetitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in eventtechnology services.
  • Ensure all eventtechnology operations are aligned with organizational goals andstandards.

Requiredqualifications
  • Bachelor s degree inEvent Management Information Technology or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience in managing eventtechnology operations preferably in a leadershiprole.
  • Strong organizational and logisticalskills to coordinate technology requirements for variousevents.
  • Excellent team leadership and peoplemanagement abilities to drive highperformance.
  • Problemsolving skills to addresstechnical issues and ensure smooth event.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonalskills to interact with clients vendors and internalteams.
  • Ability to work effectively underpressure and meet tight deadlines in a fastpaced eventenvironment.
  • Sound financial acumen to manageevent technology budgets and expensesefficiently.
  • Proficiency in event managementsoftware IT systems and relevant industrytools.
  • Strong analytical mindset to evaluateevent technology performance and identify areas forimprovement.
  • Adaptability and flexibility toaccommodate evolving technology trends and clientpreferences.
  • Certifications in event technologyproject management or related fields areadvantageous.
  • Ability to travel and workirregular hours based on event schedules andrequirements.
