We are a globally recognized technology company looking for a highly motivated and skilled SCM Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our team. We value innovation, sustainability, and ethical business practices. The primary responsibility of the position is to ensure that, in the framework of supply chain management, our company complies with all pertinent external legislation and standards in the various markets.

You will oversee the implementation and upkeep of regulatory compliance projects throughout all of our global supply chain activities in your capacity as the supply chain regulatory compliance manager. To make sure that our business complies with all pertinent regulatory requirements, you will engage closely with our supply chain management team, legal team, and other important stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:

Closely coordinate with the company-wide external regulatory compliance team, which keeps track on and assesses upcoming legislative rules that affect Hitachi Energy. The incumbent of the position is responsible for managing all supply chain-related projects that address external regulations such the German Supply Chain Act.

In close cooperation with Supply Chain representatives from the various Business Units, develop and manage a global strategy to address external regulations.

Create cross-business supply chain project teams to focus on bridging any gaps in preparation for new rules. Before a regulation takes effect, Hitachie Energy aims to be compliant.

Work with the supply chain management team to make sure that all vendors and suppliers adhere to the rules and regulations.

Organize subject matter experts' contributions to support regulatory compliance initiatives (such as SCM sustainability, SCM cyber security, and SCM material compliance).

Implement internal procedures for regulatory compliance that support external standards and requirements.

Track and evaluate compliance risks, then create mitigation plans.

Perform audits and evaluations to gauge our company's performance in terms of regulatory compliance.

Create and deliver training programs needed to drive compliance initiatives.

Remain informed of changes to regulatory compliance requirements and inform the appropriate stakeholders of these changes.

Your Background:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management.

More than 10 years of experience in similar positions.

Very good understanding of SCM day-to-day challenges.

Experience in working within a matrix organization.

Joined-up thinking and self-driven personality.

Project and change management experience in a leading role.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
