Regulatory Compliance Specialist

MTC Group is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the company's adherence to all applicable local, state, and national laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Government Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between MTC Group and various government departments, regulatory bodies, and local authorities for all matters related to approvals, permits, licenses, and regulatory filings.
- Regulatory Submissions: Ensure timely submission of documents, applications, and forms required for regulatory compliance, including tax filings, labor law registrations, and environmental clearances.
- Advocacy and Negotiation: Represent MTC Group in meetings with government entities and regulators, advocating for the company's interests while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with external stakeholders, including government officials, regulatory agencies, and industry associations.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure MTC Group complies with all applicable local, state, and national laws and regulations, including but not limited to environmental, health & safety, labor, tax, and corporate governance.
- Compliance Monitoring: Conduct regular assessments and audits of internal processes to identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Policy and Procedure Oversight: Assist in developing and updating internal compliance policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and prepare regular compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as law, business administration, or public policy.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in government relations, regulatory affairs, or compliance.
- Proven track record of success in navigating complex regulatory environments.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
