Position:  Assistant Manager – On Air Presentation, Hindi Movies

Purpose: This position is responsible for driving the On Air presentation for Hindi Movies Cluster (Channel MAX & WAH) with strategic planning and presentation of content. Responsibilities include scheduling / log making while ensuring compliance with TRAI regulations, Promo forecasting, planning and operations, coordination with OAP, programming, sales and brand solutions team, channel / shows / promo performance and GRP reporting and tracking

Education: Graduation (Full Time Course)

Experience: 6+years (preference to candidates with knowledge of Broadview Software)

Location: Mumbai

Reporting Relationship: Sr. Manager - Programming Strategy, Hindi Movies

Business/Channel/Function: Hindi Movie Channels

Key Responsibilities:

On Air Presentation -Promo Planning and FPC Planning with Ops Overview:

Managing the On Air Presentation for Movie Channels Max/Wah Build a robust weekly FPC on the said channel(s) Work on the guidelines as received to arrive at the final targeted GRPs

FPC Planning

Planning the break structure while ensuring TRAI regulations are met.Share the log change form in case of changes beyond the master closure deadline

Promo Planning

Ensuring optimum utilization of inventory by promo placement as per promo priorities shared by LeadShare the log change form in case of changes beyond the master closure deadline

Data Analysis:

Data interpretation and analysis skills Data inferences and its immediate application to programming strategy

Coordination with OAP and Programming Team:

Coordinate with the various departments (OAP, Formatting, Sales Coordination, Programming and Dispatch) to ensure smooth flow of information/requirements Coordinate with Broadcast Centre to ensure smooth flow of On Air Log. SPOC for the Broadcast Ops team

Graphic Elements Management

Creation and execution of graphics. Briefing and working with the network graphics team in creation and plan for placement of graphic elements. Dispatch of on-air promotional graphics for the channel Share relevant (Electronic Program Guide) EPG information with the agency Share the log change form in case of changes beyond the master closure deadline

Scheduling/Log Making:

Responsible for scheduling and finalization of On Air logs. Manage timely delivery of logs and ensuring execution of last moment programming changes, maintaining TRAI regulation Creation and execution of graphics. Briefing and working with the network graphics team in creation and dispatch of on-air promotional graphics for the channel. Coordination with the various departments (OAP, Formatting, Sales Coordination, Programming and Dispatch) to ensure smooth flow of information/requirements Coordination with Broadcast Centre to ensure smooth flow of On Air Log

Critical Competencies:

Passion for Movies Presenting and Communicating Analytical ability and bent of mind Planning and organizing Multitasking Attention to Detail Knowledge of Microsoft applications
