Manager Placements

Job Summary:   Placements Manager  
∙Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers to secure internship and 
job opportunities for students and alumni. 
∙Plan, organize, and execute placement activities including on-campus recruitment 
drives, career fairs, and employer presentations. 
∙Provide one-on-one career counselling to students, assisting with resume 
preparation, interview techniques, and job search strategies. 
∙Design and conduct workshops and seminars on various career-related topics such as 
networking, personal branding, and industry trends. 
∙Maintain and update placement records and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-
date information on student placements and employer contacts. 
∙Monitor job market trends and provide insights and guidance to students and faculty 
on industry demands and employment opportunities. 
∙Work closely with faculty, alumni, and other stakeholders to enhance placement 
activities and career services. 
∙Prepare and present regular reports on placement statistics, employer feedback, and 
student outcomes to senior management. 
∙Continuously evaluate and improve placement processes and strategies to ensure 
high placement rates and student satisfaction. 
 

RequirementsRequired Skills and Qualifications: 
Education: MBA or equivalent degree from a top-tier business school. 
Experience: 6-7 years of relevant experience in career services, corporate relations, 
recruitment, or a related field. 
Relationship Building: Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with 
corporate partners and stakeholders. 
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to 
effectively present to various audiences. 
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to 
manage multiple tasks and deadlines. 
Counseling Skills: Experience in career counseling and providing guidance to students on 
career development. 
Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and generate insights to improve placement strategies 
and outcomes. 
Proactive and Innovative: Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities 
and solving problems creatively.
