Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at GOOD FIVE YES JOB CONSULTANCY. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and it is a full-time opportunity.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in production management
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • Proficient in using production management software
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Oversee and manage the production process from start to finish
  • Coordinate and communicate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Manage a team of production staff and provide training when necessary
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Resolve production issues and minimize downtime
  • Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality
