The Area Sales Manager will play a critical role indriving sales growth building and maintaining client relationshipsand leading a team of sales professionals.Responsibilities1.SalesManagement
  • Developand implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed salestargets for Cash Credit limit (CC) Overdrafts limit (OD) and TermLoans limit products in the assigned area.
  • Identify and explore new businessopportunities to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regularreports to senior management on sales achievements market trendsand competitor activities.
  • Conduct marketresearch to identify customer needs and preferences and tailorsales strategies accordingly.
2. Team Leadership
  • Lead and manage ateam of sales executives providing guidance support and motivationto ensure the teams success.
  • Conduct regularperformance evaluations identify training needs and providecoaching to enhance the teams productivity and skills.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive workenvironment encouraging teamwork and a customercentric approach.
3.ClientRelationship Management
  • Cultivate strongrelationships with key clients and stakeholders in the regionunderstanding their requirements and providing excellent customerservice.
  • Resolve customer complaints andissues promptly ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for crossselling andupselling banking and financial products to existing clients.
4.Marketing andPromotions
  • Leveragethe candidates 5 years of experience in Marketing to deviseeffective promotional strategies and campaigns to drive productawareness and market penetration.
  • Collaboratewith the marketing team to develop creative marketing materials andinitiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS ANDSKILLS
  • MBA (Masterof Business Administration) and CA (Chartered Accountant)qualifications are mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2years of experience in Cash Credit limit (CC) Overdrafts limit (OD)and Term Loans limit is required.
  • At least 5years of experience in Marketing within the finance or bankingindustry.
  • Proven track record of successfullyleading and managing a sales team.
  • Strongbusiness acumen and understanding of financial products andservices.
  • Excellent communication negotiationand interpersonal skills.
