JOB PURPOSE:(prime focus and objective of theposition)Thisposition will be responsible for to identify opportunities inrenewable energy supply chain management and work with the assetmanagement team to facilitate the successful completion andmanagement of a large portfolio of renewable energy contracts. Thisrole will provide the candidate with a unique opportunity to join ahigh impact team and gain a wide range of exposure to global energymarkets.Thesuccessful candidate will have experience in renewable energysupply chain management and if possible experience managingwholesale power contracts. This position will work closely withAsset Management and Projects Team to foster strategic commercialrelationships with suppliers identify new corporate engagementmodels for renewable energy major equipment and demonstrate stronganalytical skills through a proven ability to negotiate supplycontracts and deliver results. We run a fastpaced and dynamic workenvironment so the right candidate will be able to move quicklywhile maintaining quality workproducts.ResponsibilitiesTo develop and implement a procurement and supply plan for WTG andmajor renewable equipment / contracts to support a project inpipeline for both our existing portfolio as well as newprocurement.Effectively support the negotiation of agreements for items relatedto scope price terms & conditions delivery and contractchanges withsuppliers. Providesupport for contract negotiations with actionable feedback onvendor performance and portfolio risks andopportunities.Remain informed on current procurement trends regulatory issues andtechnologicalupdates.Proactively identify opportunities to reduce supply chain risk forour renewable energy to ensure that contracts delivery is in linewith our timing expectations to meet companygoals. Ongoingcontract administration for major supplyagreements.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurateinformation is shared on a timely basis with legal tax accountingand finance.Develop and maintain internal scorecards to prioritizesuppliers. Workwith technical finance and treasury teams to support bankability ofsuppliers andtechnologies.Knowledge of CTU/ISTS reverse auction & its impacts on WTGpricing trends.Knowledge on Wind Energy Converter and its major componentssourcing like generator gearbox converter tower and internals(including LT and HT power cables)etc. Sourcingexperience related to steel plates flanges and internals for WTGtowers including contracting with majormanufacturers.Understand WTG requirements on logistics custom clearances relateddocumentation from compliance aspects etc. (Ifany) Handled WTGsupply relatedinsurance.Experience and Knowledge in O&Mcontracts. Minimum12 years of work experience is must. IPP experience will be givenpreferences.Experience of handling minimum contract size of at least 300MW. Experience ofhandling and managing Letter of Credit(LC).QualificationsRequiredQualificationsBachelor s degree in economics finance business administrationengineering sustainability or equivalent work experience andexpertise. 10 yearsof experience in strategic sourcing functions commodity managementand contract negotiationexperience. SCMskills working with large scale solar wind and/or storagedevelopmentprojects. Stronganalytical capabilities and attention to detail to support reviewand interpretation of contracts and ensure vendorcompliance.Proactive team player with high emotional intelligence capable ofadapting to ambiguous environments with crossgroup collaborationand problemsolvingabilities. Growthmindset with problemsolvingskills. Willing torelocate HO MumbaiMHPreferredQualificationsPostgraduate degree in a relevant field is a plus though experiencein consulting and power/energy industries may substitute forrelevant graduateeducation. 12 yearsof experience in SCM and contractmanagement.
