PositionOverview: L4B Software is seeking an experienced SeniorSoftware Engineer with 57 years of experience. The ideal candidatewill have extensive knowledge in MCAL CDD integration andAUTOSARbased ECUs. The candidate should be proficient in workingwith Vector stack & BSW and have experience withdiagnostics and communication protocols. This role requires aproactive individual who can drive technical excellence and mentorjunior engineers.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • SoftwareDevelopment andIntegration:
    • Designdevelop and integrate software modules for MCAL CDD andAUTOSARbased ECUs.
    • Implementsoftware components using Vector stack and BSW to ensure seamlessintegration andfunctionality.
    • Develop highqualityefficient and maintainable code adhering to industry best practicesandstandards.
  • TechnicalLeadership:
    • Leadthe design and architecture discussions for softwareprojects.
    • Provide technical guidanceand mentorship to junior engineers fostering a culture ofcontinuous learning andimprovement.
    • Conduct code reviews toensure code quality and adherence to codingstandards.
  • CollaborationandCoordination:
    • Workclosely with crossfunctional teams including hardware engineerssystem architects and project managers to define softwarerequirements and deliver highqualitysolutions.
    • Participate in projectplanning estimation and risk managementactivities.
  • Diagnosticsand CommunicationProtocols:
    • Implementand manage diagnostics and communication protocols including CANEthernet and Flexray.
    • Developdiagnostic services and tools for efficient troubleshooting andmaintenance.
  • QualityAssurance andCompliance:
    • Ensuresoftware quality through rigorous testing validation andverification processes.
    • Maintaincompliance with industry standards and regulatoryrequirements.
    • Develop and maintaindocumentation for software design development and testingprocesses.
  • ContinuousImprovement:
    • Stayupdated with the latest industry trends technologies and bestpractices.
    • Proactively identifyareas for improvement in software development processes andimplement necessarychanges.


Requirements

RequiredQualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • 57 years of experience insoftware development and integration particularly in automotive orembedded systems.
  • Proficiency inMCAL and CDD integration.
  • Extensiveexperience with HPC and AUTOSARbasedECUs.
  • Expertise in Vector stack& BSW.
  • Indepth knowledge ofdiagnostics and communication protocols (CAN EthernetFlexray).
  • Strong problemsolving andanalytical skills.
  • Excellent Englishcommunication skills both written andverbal.
  • Ability to work effectivelyin a collaborative teamenvironment.
  • Experience with agilemethodologies and tools.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in ComputerScience, Engineering, or a related field. 5-7+ years of experiencein software development and integration, particularly in automotiveor embedded systems. Proficiency in MCAL and CDD integration.Extensive experience with HPC and AUTOSAR-based ECUs. Expertise inVector stack & BSW. In-depth knowledge of diagnostics andcommunication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, Flexray). Strongproblem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent Englishcommunication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to workeffectively in a collaborative team environment. Experience withagile methodologies and tools.
