Inventory Management Specialist

Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Analyzing Inventory Needs: Evaluate inventory requirements to develop strategies for purchasing items that meet production demands effectively. Replenishment Planning & Coordination: Work closely with Buyers to ensure seamless management of the ordering process, facilitating timely replenishment. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to minimize disruptions to the production schedule. Inventory Analysis: Monitor inventory levels, preventing both stockouts and overstock situations through continuous analysis. Collaborative Planning: Develop inventory plans in coordination with planning, stores, and supply chain teams to optimize production flow. Setting Inventory Parameters: Establish inventory parameters and targets, ensuring appropriate replenishment levels. MRP Exception Management: Monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, promptly addressing exceptions and errors to maintain accuracy. Data Integrity: Ensure MRP system data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies efficiently. Inventory Audits: Support various inventory counting activities including cycle counting, PIcounting, and year-end inventory audits. Excess Inventory Management: Analyze and address excess and obsolete/aging inventory, collaborating with cross-functional teams for optimization. Inventory Performance Improvement: Develop and execute plans to reduce slow-moving inventories and enhance inventory turnover rates

Your Profile

Desired Qualification :BE, Any Specialization; Diploma - Materials Management Desired Experience in Years : 10-12 Years Preferred hands on experience: Inventory Management, Demand Planning & Material Planning role. Good Understanding of Warehouse Management practices and processes, Advance Analytics, preferably in a manufacturing environment, Significant experience in dealing with Purchasing. Ability to work collaboratively with various teams, Experience in working with cross functional teams
