- Group Company- ACG Associated Capsules Pvt. Ltd.- Primary Responsibilities- Key activities to be performed- Inventory Control- a) Prepare stock statement of gelatin periodically with details of quantity in transit and expected dispatch by suppliers during the month.
- b) Prepare stock statement of major raw material periodically with highlighting significant market information and development.
- c) Ensure optimum stock of A & B class items periodically.
- d) Ensure optimum stock is maintained in the stores for engineering items.
- e) Prepare list of Fast, Slow & Nonmoving items six monthly & review the list.
- f) Initiates action for disposal of slow & non-moving items.
- g) To handle disposal activities.
- h) To handle RM and PM activities.- Vendor Development
- a) Visit proactively to vendors for improvement & development.
- b) Develop new vendors for all engineering, consumables items as & when required.
- c) Ensure the material received is as per specifications.- Cost effectiveness in Materials function- a) Develop the system of maintaining stock of with lowest inventory.
- b) After receiving purchase indents from internal customers, prepare comparison sheet, recommend suppliers, price, and quality & delivery schedule for approval.
- c) Submit the stock statement, after physical verification, to Finance department by 31st March of every year.
- d) Use latest techniques of materials management like JIT, KANBAN, visual management etc. for effective inventory in the stores dept.- 4. Organization Development through systems
- a) Monitors cGMP, ISO, TPM, 5S, DMS and QMS, internal audits, customers audits etc. effectively.
- b) To handle the DMS and QMS activities.- Key Result Areas- Ensures Inventory control.
- Vendor development.
