NICE is seeking a Technical Education Specialist to join our Public Safety and Justice portfolio family. Our market is currently transitioning from on-premise technologies to Cloud, and NICE is leading the way in providing clear solutions, technologies and thought leadership. The responsibility is to ensure our internal teams and external stakeholders are fully conversant with our products through creation and delivery of innovative Education and Training. The main function of the Technical Education Specialist is to design and develop and deliver technical and application training on NICE Public Safety products in a variety of formats. 

As part of the Training and Documentation team, you will work closely with other major functions within the company, such as R&D engineers, Support and Installation engineers, New Product Introduction teams and Product Managers. Your ability to work independently to deliver to an agreed plan is essential.

Your priority will be to ensure accurate and on-time training materials development to support delivery of technical training and end user training course materials to both customers and employees in a Global environment.

How will you make an impact?

Facilitate the creation of learning solutions across the training life cycle, encompassing requirements analysis, mapping, design, development, and delivery.Create technical training solutions and user-centric training materials for NICE customers, partners, and employees, encompassing instructor-led sessions and eLearning modulesConduct training sessions for both physical classrooms and virtual environments.Collaborate closely with the Research and Development team to grasp new product features and functionalities.Partner with the Product team to align training collateral with market demands and customer needs.Assess training effectiveness to drive ongoing enhancements in content and delivery.Install, upgrade, and maintain training systems for optimal functionality.Successfully execute training development projects within specified timelines.Work collaboratively within a global team to accomplish project and group objectives.Serve as the primary point of contact for Public Safety product knowledge at our Pune development center.

Have you got what it takes? 

BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field. Certified Microsoft/Cisco/VMware desirable 8 – 10 years of experience in technical training and end-user training development Self-motivated and independent Very high level of verbal and written English – native speakers preferredProven experience in developing and delivering virtual technical trainingAbility to adapt working schedule to occasionally deliver training in other time-zonesGood technical skills. A development background is an advantageProactive in solving issues and ability to connect to and work with multiple teamsFully conversant with Microsoft Word and PowerPointExperience in at least one of the following fields: Technical Author, Trainer, Product Support, Software or Field Engineer OR Experience in technical training and end-user training development or deliveryExcellent time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervisionSelf-motivated with a “Can-Do” approach and a passion for training and learningVery good level of presentation skillsLearn quickly with a “Can-Do” approach and attitude

You will have an advantage if you also have:

Technical knowledge of NICE Public Safety solutionsExperience using Camtasia Video Recording softwareExperience of using Articulate Storyline 360 e-learning suiteReal life experience in one or more of the following technologies: Microsoft Windows Operating Systems Microsoft (SQL), Oracle (MySQL) and other database technologies Networking: protocols, switches, firewall, VLAN Virtualization: VMware or Hyper-V Experience in the Public Safety ecosystem is an advantage. Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) e.g., Cornerstone
