3D Generalist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Modeller Specialist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, realistic, and detailed 3D models specifically for the watch industry. You will collaborate with designers, animators, and developers to bring ideas to life through precise modeling, texturing, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate and visually compelling 3D models based on design briefs, sketches, reference images, or CAD drawings.
• Develop textures, materials, and shaders that enhance realism and visual appeal.
• Collaborate with animators, designers, and creative directors to ensure models are optimized for rendering, animation, or real-time engines.
• Ensure models meet technical and artistic requirements for various outputs (rendering, AR/VR, games, or product visualization).
• Maintain a strong attention to detail in geometry, topology, UV mapping, and texturing.
• Stay updated with the latest tools, techniques, and trends in 3D modeling and visualization.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 3D Modeller, 3D Artist, or similar role.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Cinema 4D, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of UV mapping, PBR texturing, lighting, and rendering pipelines.
• Knowledge of subdivision modeling, sculpting, and retopology workflows.
• Familiarity with rendering engines (V-Ray, Arnold, Redshift, Cycles, etc.).
• Experience with Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop, or other texturing tools.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, CAD files, or concept art into accurate 3D models.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of 3D modeling work.

Preferred Skills
(Nice to Have)

• Experience in animation pipelines or rig-ready models.
• Knowledge of real-time engines (Unreal Engine, Unity) for interactive applications.
• Basic understanding of scripting or automation in 3D software.
• Experience in product visualization, architectural rendering, or game asset development.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and creative eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Effective communication skills to explain and present design decisions.
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to feedback.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Animation, Game Design, Industrial Design, Fine Arts, or related field (preferred, but not mandatory with strong portfolio).
