Role Overview

As a 3D Character Design Intern, you will work closely with our creative and development teams to design, model, texture, and refine characters that align with our artistic vision and storytelling needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create 3D character models from concept art or briefs provided.
  • Develop textures, materials, and details to enhance realism or stylization.
  • Collaborate with animators and rigging artists to ensure models are animation-ready.
  • Maintain visual consistency and meet project deadlines.
  • Participate in brainstorming and creative discussions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush).
  • Understanding of character anatomy, proportions, and design principles.
  • Familiarity with texturing tools (e.g., Substance Painter, Photoshop).
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
  • Portfolio or sample work demonstrating 3D character designs (academic or personal projects welcome).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with rigging and animation.
  • Knowledge of game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
