Role Summary

Responsible for leading monitoring, evaluation, data management, learning, and documentation for CSR outreach projects across Maharashtra. Key duties include designing M&E frameworks, finalizing operational and monitoring plans, developing outcome-based indicators, and creating dashboards to track NGO performance. The role involves guiding partners in evidence-based data collection, conducting site visits for capacity building, and generating monthly progress reports for decision-making. The candidate will also supports baseline and impact assessments, ensuring gender and diversity integration, documents key learnings, and contributes to donor and internal reporting as well as project visibility through various platforms.

What the role entails Key accountabilities/ responsibilities

• Monitoring the outreach projects spread across Maharashtra and leading monitoring, evaluation, data management, learning review and documentation under the project.
• Lead the process of finalization of operational and monitoring plans in consultation with the Executive Committee, CSR lead and Project Manager. Project Executive M&E will be responsible to design the monitoring and evaluation framework under each CSR projects.
• Project Executive will be accountable to guide NGO partners on creating evidenced based data and write-ups to other team members for evidence-based monitoring process.
• Visit outreach projects to project sites and coach NGO/ Partners project team.

• Design and operationalize the outcome-based indicators and develop NGO wise dashboard to track the progress.

• Design, lead and support data collection, aggregation, validation, analysis, and reporting in formats for project monitoring

• Generate monthly monitoring progress report input and output level for monthly planning and decision making

• Capacitate the project team of NGOs and partners in providing relevant data and interpreting PMF outputs for improved project implementation and management

• Ensure incorporation of gender and diversity aspects in the PMF and actual M&E on field

• Support the CSR lead / Program Manager and coordinator in analysing data and taking appropriate decisions on baseline -Baseline/Endline Studies and Impact Assessment and provide project-related data and information (including impact data) as required by the CSR team

• Identify and document learning as what has worked and what has not worked in project

• Collect annual data about project participants in digital format .
• Finalizing the learning agenda and its timeline for the project, in consultation with the CSR lead and Program Manager.
• Prepare progress reports as required internally and for donor reporting, using inputs provided by the project team and partners.
• Contribute to ensure visibility of project efforts and achievements on various internal and external forum like MHL website ,Metropolis Foundation website, blogs and Annual report) and external platforms / for a (publications, workshops/seminars, journals)
• Any other job as assigned by the supervisor.

What we are looking for in you

• Adapt and experience in data management and create a dashboard
• Excellent communication skills; proficiency in spoken and written English; should be able to also communicate verbally in Hindi; verbal communication in Marathi would be required
• High Organizational capabilities with optimal supervisory skills.
• Very good understanding of project management in the social sector and working with diverse communities.
• Capable of innovating on projects and coming up with new ideas for Metropolis Foundation's promotional activities
• High capability in documentation and report writing.
• Basic knowledge of websites and Apps an added advantage.

Essential- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

Desirable- Masters of Social Work (BSW)

Experience- 2years to 5years
