  • Customer consultation: Understand customer needs, space, and requirements to offer solutions for colors, designs, and décor.
  • Product and service promotion: Pitch products and services like color consultancy, visualization, and decorative finishes to customers who have their own contractors.
  • Color and décor guidance: Provide expert advice on color selection, considering factors like lighting and existing furniture, to create a harmonious look for the home.
  • Technology utilization: Use tools and applications to help customers visualize colors and make selections.
  • Coordination: Liaise with customer associates and contractors to ensure all aspects of a painting project are addressed, including training for contractors.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education: A degree in interior design, fine arts, or a related creative field is often preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in interior design or a similar role is beneficial.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and people skills are essential for interacting with customers and coordinating with teams.
  • Technical aptitude: Willingness to learn and use technology applications related to home decor.
  • Customer focus: A strong orientation towards customer service and creating a positive experience.

Work environment

  • Location: Often based in a retail store or "Color Idea Store".
  • Employment: Consultants may be directly employed by third-party agencies that work with Asian Paints, such as Radiant Enterprise or Pay Asia.

Job Type: Full-time
