Sales and strategy

  • Develop sales strategies: Create and execute plans to drive revenue and achieve dealership goals.
  • Set targets: Establish monthly and annual objectives for unit sales, gross profits, and other key metrics.
  • Analyze data: Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
  • Manage inventory: Oversee the acquisition and pricing of new and used vehicles to ensure a profitable mix.

Team management

  • Hire and train: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Motivate and coach: Motivate staff through incentives, coaching, and providing guidance on best practices for closing deals.
  • Monitor performance: Track salesperson productivity and hold them accountable for meeting performance metrics.

Operations and customer relations

  • Coordinate departments: Liaise with other departments, such as finance and marketing, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction: Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, address complaints, and ensure a positive delivery and follow-up experience.
  • Manage budgets: Control and analyze expenditures to ensure they conform to budget requirements.
  • Oversee marketing: Align marketing campaigns with sales goals and help coordinate promotions.
