Cogito is seeking a highly experienced Operations / Project Manager to lead and manage our Data Annotation operations in a BPO environment serving international clients. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data annotation (hands-on and in a leadership capacity), strong client facing skills, excellent communication, and a proven track record managing large, high-performing teams.

Job Description:

• Handling client calls/meetings
• Lead end-toend operations of data annotation projects: planning, execution, quality assurance, delivery.
• Supervise and mentor a team of data annotators as well as leads / supervisors; ensure high productivity, accuracy, adherence to project timelines.
• Handling concerns/escalations raised by client.
• Manage client relationships: understand requirements, ensure SLAs / KPIs are met or exceeded, conduct business reviews, address escalations.
• Plan, execute, monitor and report on your domain of responsibility.
• Collaborate with the Management to address business challenges and work on solutions together.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and innovation in annotation tools, methods, or technology.
• Anticipate on new requirements and new business to prepare the teams to deliver on these new activities.
• Implement metrics and tools to study and predict customer/client behavior in a scalable way with the purpose to maximize business expansion.

• Self-motivated, proactive team player, with excellent inter personal skills and ideas to inspire customer loyalty, adoption and build relationships.
• Should have worked in BPO
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence client.
• Creative and innovative mindset on how to analyze a situation and take actions.
• Track record of delivering exceptional customer outcomes and revenue impact.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects which are complex in nature and across diverse teams and locations.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Total work experience: 10 to 18 years, out of which at least 5 years in BPO operations.
• Data Annotation experience: Must have hands-on experience in data annotation tasks, plus prior experience managing / leading a data annotation team.
• International Clients: Should have handled/involved with clients from overseas (e.g., US, UK, Europe, etc.), with exposure to their expectations / SLAs.
• Team Management: Experience leading teams (annotators & leads) in fast-paced environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English; ability to communicate with clients, internal teams, and leadership clearly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree (or higher)
• Prior experience with AI / ML workflows or working closely with data science / ML teams.
• Exposure to different annotation domains: text, image, video, audio etc.
