About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Expert with 5–6 years of professional experience in geospatial technologies. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in satellite/drone imagery analysis, spatial data management, and advanced GIS applications using AI tools, supporting diverse projects across urban planning, environment, infrastructure, and natural resource management.

Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct advanced satellite and aerial imagery analysis, including classification, change detection, and feature extraction.


• Develop, manage, and analyze spatial databases and geospatial datasets.


• Apply remote sensing techniques for environmental monitoring, land use/land cover mapping, and urban studies.


• Support project teams with GIS-based modeling, geostatistical analysis, and thematic mapping.


• Automate workflows using Python, ModelBuilder, or other scripting tools.


• Prepare high-quality maps, visualizations, and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Collaborate with planners, engineers, and domain experts to integrate geospatial insights into decision-making.


• Stay updated on latest GIS/RS tools, cloud platforms, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• 5–6 years of proven experience in GIS and Remote Sensing.


• Proficiency in QGIS, ESRI ArcGIS (Pro, Online, Enterprise) and related platforms.


• Strong expertise in satellite imagery processing (Sentinel, Landsat, high-resolution imagery).


• Experience with ERDAS Imagine, ENVI, or similar imagery analysis tools.


• Knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL) and cloud GIS platforms.


• Proficiency in Python, R, or equivalent scripting for geospatial analysis.


• Strong cartographic and data visualization skills.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, or related field from a recognized institution.
  • Additional certifications in GIS/Remote Sensing, imagery analysis, or data science will be an advantage.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on urban planning, forestry, infrastructure, or climate projects.
  • Exposure to web GIS, dashboards (ArcGIS Online, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with machine learning/deep learning for imagery analysis.
