As a Factory Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of manufacturing operations — from production and maintenance to quality and dispatch. You will lead a cross-functional team, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and implement strategies that enhance efficiency and productivity. This position demands a leader who is both strategic and hands-on, capable of balancing operational excellence with financial performance.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the entire factory operations, ensuring seamless coordination across production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics.
  • Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery timelines, quality standards, and cost objectives.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
  • Monitor plant performance metrics, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and statutory compliance standards within the manufacturing environment.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate factory staff to achieve efficiency and performance goals.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure consistent raw material availability.
  • Oversee quality assurance and ensure product consistency aligned with company benchmarks.
  • Manage factory budgets, control costs, and drive profitability by overseeing the P&L of the unit.
  • Introduce automation and technology-driven improvements to enhance production capability and sustainability.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related disciplines.
  • 7–12 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within the consumer goods, furniture, or mattress/foam industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing mid-to-large scale production facilities with direct P&L accountability.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build, guide, and motivate large teams.
  • Hands-on expertise in lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and quality management systems (QMS).
  • Deep understanding of process optimization, cost control, and operational excellence.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • High degree of accountability, integrity, and results-oriented mindset.
