We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead and oversee operations at a mattress manufacturing facility based in Hyderabad. The role requires complete ownership of plant performance, ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, workforce management, and P&L accountability.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end factory operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and dispatch.
  • Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery timelines while optimizing cost and efficiency.
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices to enhance productivity and reduce operational waste.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety standards, statutory guidelines, and industry regulations.
  • Lead and mentor factory teams, fostering a high-performance and safety-focused culture.
  • Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain uninterrupted raw material availability.
  • Maintain and improve product quality in line with defined standards and customer expectations.
  • Prepare, monitor, and control factory budgets, production KPIs, and cost metrics.
  • Drive automation, continuous improvement initiatives, and adoption of best-in-class manufacturing practices.
  • Take full responsibility for the factory's P&L, ensuring alignment with business and financial targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 7–12 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in mattresses, foam products, furniture, or consumer goods.
  • Prior experience managing medium to large-scale production facilities.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience handling a large workforce.
  • Solid understanding of lean processes, Kaizen, and quality management systems.
  • Proven track record in factory-level P&L ownership.
  • Analytical, hands-on, problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making ability.
