The Area Business Manager (ABM) is responsible for supporting the development and execution of brand strategies and tactical plans to drive the growth of brands in Ventus Team. The main role is to coach/guide his team members on their roles and responsibilities .The ABM is expected to have knowledge of public account operations like CGHS, Army , Railways and ESI along with trade business.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business performance

  • Deliver primary and secondary sales targets in the assigned area.
  • Ensure achievement of market share, growth objectives.
  • Monitor territory performance and take corrective actions where required.

Team Leadership & Development :

  • Set clear targets, guide on call planning, and review field activities.
  • Coach and mentor team members on product knowledge, selling skills, and customer engagement.
  • Identify capability gaps and arrange training/development interventions.
  • Motivate the team, manage attrition, and build a high-performance culture.

Customer Engagement & Market Development

  • Build strong relationships with key doctors, hospitals, stockists, and distributors.
  • Support team in important customer calls and joint fieldwork.
  • Ensure effective implementation of scientific engagement activities

Execution of Strategy

  • Implement marketing campaigns and track effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree with Science background /BPharm

Professional Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience as ABM in pharmaceutical marketing
  • Experience in respiratory or specialty care segments is a plus.
