Role Overview

As a Social Media Intern, you will support the digital marketing team in building a strong and engaging presence across various social media platforms. This is a hands-on learning role designed to expose you to social media strategy, content creation, audience engagement, and analytics. You will assist in executing campaigns, researching trends, and ensuring the brand voice is consistently reflected across platforms. Ideal for someone with creativity, curiosity, and a passion for digital media, this internship offers a real-world foundation in social media marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Ideation: Contribute to brainstorming and planning social media content calendars with trending and creative ideas.
  • Copywriting: Draft engaging, error-free captions, hashtags, and CTAs that resonate with the target audience.
  • Content Creation: Assist in creating basic graphic posts, reels, stories, carousels, and captions aligned with brand tone.
  • Content Calendaring: Assist in managing day-to-day activities on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Twittemr, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor platforms for comments, messages, and mentions. Respond to followers and escalate key feedback when needed.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated on social media trends, viral formats, memes, platform updates, and best practices.
  • Performance Tracking: Assist in collecting basic data on post reach, likes, shares, and other engagement metrics.
  • Competitive Analysis: Observe competitor activity to identify gaps and new opportunities for engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related field.
  • Active on social media with a keen interest in trends, reels, and community culture.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts.
  • Any portfolio of previous personal or academic social media work is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
