Role Overview
As a City Head – Monetization, you will spearhead Advertising Sales, Brand Partnerships, and Revenue Growth for your city. This is a leadership role requiring strong Ad Sales expertise and a sharp focus on regional and hyperlocal advertisers. You will be responsible for building and scaling the city-level monetization business, onboarding high-potential brands, and ensuring impactful campaign delivery across both digital and offline formats.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and scale a city-level Ad Sales/Brand Partnerships team.
- Build a culture of performance, ownership, and customer-first execution.
Ad Sales & Brand Partnerships
- Identify, acquire, and grow partnerships with regional and hyperlocal brands (F&B, retail, healthcare, fitness, education, beauty, services).
- Monetize digital ad spaces (in-app banners, push notifications, forums, approval screens) and on-ground formats (lift branding, kiosks, resident events, OOH/DOOH).
- Build and nurture strong advertiser relationships to drive campaign frequency, renewals, and revenue growth.
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Ensure ROI-driven campaigns with a focus on lead generation, visibility, and resident engagement.
- Share performance reports, insights, and recommendations to build client trust and secure repeat business.
Market Growth & Hyperlocal Strategy
- Expand monetization by onboarding local businesses and regional advertisers targeting premium gated communities.
- Analyze city-specific consumer trends and design localized monetization strategies.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in Advertising Sales, Media Sales, or Brand Partnerships.
- 3–4 years of team management experience in sales leadership.
- Strong track record in closing hyperlocal/regional ad sales deals and scaling advertiser relationships.
- Robust network of local advertisers, media buyers, and agency partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure, track, and optimize performance.
- Entrepreneurial and growth-oriented with strong ownership mindset.
