Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Consultant with expertise in Linux and SAP to

join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing,

deploying, and managing SAP workloads on AWS while ensuring optimal

performance, scalability, and security. This role requires hands-on technical

expertise, strategic planning, and the ability to work closely with clients to deliver

cloud-based SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

AWS Infrastructure & SAP Deployment:

o Design, implement, and manage SAP landscapes on AWS, including SAP

HANA, S/4HANA and other SAP components.

o Configure high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and backup

solutions for SAP workloads on AWS.

o Optimize AWS resources for cost efficiency, scalability, and security.

Linux Administration:

o Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based SAP environments on AWS (RHEL,

SUSE, Ubuntu, etc.).

o Implement security hardening and compliance for Linux servers.

o Monitor system performance, manage patches, and automate server

administration tasks.

AWS Cloud Services & Automation:

o Leverage AWS services such as EC2, S3, EBS, IAM, VPC, Lambda,

CloudFormation, Auto Scaling, AWS Backup, and AWS Security Tools to

build and manage SAP environments.

Qualifications and Skills:

AWS: EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, RDS, IAM, Route53, VPC, Route Table, VPN,

Cloudfront, CloudTrail, CloudFormation

Operating Systems: Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Suse), Windows Servers

Webservers: Apache, Nginx, Tomcat

Databases: MySQL, RDS, DynamoDB, MongoDB

Scripting Language: Bash, YAML, Powershell, Python

DevOps Tools (Preferred): Jenkins, Ansible, GIT, Terraform, Maven, Docker

Monitoring: CloudWatch, Zabbix, Logs

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

5 years of System Administration experience with AWS cloud

Experience

Experience with Linux system architecture

Experience with Linux-based VPN clients, firewalls, intrusion detection

systems, filesystems, and authentication
