Role Overview

The
Operations Executive
will oversee
inventory management, logistics coordination, and customer experience
at Rentkar's
Mumbai head office
. This role is crucial for ensuring product readiness, smooth dispatches, accurate reporting, and exceptional customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management & Reporting

  • Manage and reconcile inventory across all categories (PS5s, laptops, cameras, guitars, accessories, etc.)
  • Conduct periodic stock audits, track inflow/outflow, and ensure accuracy in records
  • Create
    Advanced Excel reports
    on stock availability, repairs, part replacements, and requirements
  • Monitor
    turnaround time (TAT)
    for product readiness and maintain inventory flow efficiency

2. Quality Control

  • Oversee inspection, cleaning, and functionality testing of products
  • Identify damaged or faulty items and coordinate repairs or replacements
  • Maintain high quality standards before every dispatch

3. Customer Handling

  • Address customer queries and complaints
    politely and professionally
    , even during odd hours if required
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and proactive problem-solving in escalations
  • Coordinate with internal teams for replacements, pickups, or issue resolution

4. Logistics & Partner Management

  • Coordinate
    intra-city
    and
    inter-state
    logistics for dispatches and returns
  • Maintain strong relationships with courier/logistics partners
  • Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and ensure timely movement of high-value products

5. Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports covering:
  • Stock status
  • Pending repairs
  • Delivery turnaround
  • Customer escalations and resolutions
  • Suggest process improvements for faster fulfillment and better inventory control


Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel & Advanced Excel
    (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting, Reports)
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Clear communication in
    English & Hindi
    (Marathi preferred)
  • Ability to multitask under pressure with attention to detail
  • Understanding of logistics workflows and coordination


Experience

  • 1–3 years
    in operations, logistics, or inventory management
  • Prior experience in
    D2C
    ,
    rental
    , or
    logistics startups
    preferred
  • Exposure to handling
    high-value electronics or gadgets
    is a plus
