Role Overview
The
Operations Executive
will oversee
inventory management, logistics coordination, and customer experience
at Rentkar's
Mumbai head office
. This role is crucial for ensuring product readiness, smooth dispatches, accurate reporting, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management & Reporting
- Manage and reconcile inventory across all categories (PS5s, laptops, cameras, guitars, accessories, etc.)
- Conduct periodic stock audits, track inflow/outflow, and ensure accuracy in records
- Create
Advanced Excel reports
on stock availability, repairs, part replacements, and requirements - Monitor
turnaround time (TAT)
for product readiness and maintain inventory flow efficiency
2. Quality Control
- Oversee inspection, cleaning, and functionality testing of products
- Identify damaged or faulty items and coordinate repairs or replacements
- Maintain high quality standards before every dispatch
3. Customer Handling
- Address customer queries and complaints
politely and professionally
, even during odd hours if required - Demonstrate patience, empathy, and proactive problem-solving in escalations
- Coordinate with internal teams for replacements, pickups, or issue resolution
4. Logistics & Partner Management
- Coordinate
intra-city
and
inter-state
logistics for dispatches and returns - Maintain strong relationships with courier/logistics partners
- Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and ensure timely movement of high-value products
5. Reporting & Process Improvement
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports covering:
- Stock status
- Pending repairs
- Delivery turnaround
- Customer escalations and resolutions
- Suggest process improvements for faster fulfillment and better inventory control
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Excel & Advanced Excel
(Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting, Reports) - Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Clear communication in
English & Hindi
(Marathi preferred) - Ability to multitask under pressure with attention to detail
- Understanding of logistics workflows and coordination
Experience
- 1–3 years
in operations, logistics, or inventory management - Prior experience in
D2C
,
rental
, or
logistics startups
preferred - Exposure to handling
high-value electronics or gadgets
