The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you'll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You'll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead OS patching activities for LINUX systems.
• Analyse and assess patch requirements and their impact on infrastructure and applications.
• Create and maintain detailed work plans and procedures based on existing design documents, past procedures, and templates.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to ensure successful implementation of changes.
• Review customer-requested changes, provide feedback, and implement them in a timely manner.
• Execute patching and maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to system operations.
• Linux (RHEL) server construction using Ansible.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with LINUX systems administration, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Someone who has experience creating OpenShift on-premise (without an internet connection)
• Create and test (check execution results) a playbook for building a RHEL server based on the base document.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in managing LINUX systems in a similar role.
• Experience in a high-security work environment.
