Job Summary:- A Makeup Artist interprets clients' requirements, creates appropriate looks, and applies makeup using professional techniques. They ensure that makeup complements skin tones, lighting conditions, and event or production settings, while maintaining hygiene and client satisfaction

Key Duties and Responsibilities:-

  • Consult with clients to understand their preferences, needs, and makeup expectations.
  • Provide advice on skincare routines and cosmetic application techniques.
  • Apply a range of makeup products, including foundation, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, and blush.
  • Conduct makeup trials and test different looks before events or productions.
  • Remove makeup safely and properly after sessions, when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, tools, and cosmetics.
  • Stay updated with current beauty trends, products, and makeup techniques.
  • Work with lighting directors, costume designers, and photographers to ensure the makeup suits the setting.
  • Create special effects makeup, prosthetics, or period-specific looks for film, television, or theater productions 3.
  • Manage inventory of makeup products and supplies.
  • Style hair and shape facial features when required for a complete look.
