About the Role:

We are seeking a
Senior Engineer – Quality Assurance & QMS
to support and oversee quality management activities at our facility. The role involves ensuring product quality standards, supporting implementation of quality systems, and driving process improvements in line with industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections, audits, and quality checks across aluminium die casting and machining processes.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) – ISO 9001, IATF 16949.
  • Prepare quality documentation, reports, and maintain compliance with customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with production and QA teams to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Handle quality issues, customer complaints, and assist in corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Participate in PPAP, APQP, and NPD (New Product Development) quality activities.
  • Assist in supplier quality management and ensure incoming material quality compliance.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects to reduce rejections and enhance process reliability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Metallurgy preferred).
  • 4–6 years of experience in Quality Assurance within aluminium die casting or automotive manufacturing.
  • Good knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF
  • Familiarity with quality tools (SPC, FMEA, 8D, MSA, CAPA).
  • Exposure to quality inspection equipment (CMM, gauges, instruments).

Desired Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication (English & Hindi).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic quality software.
  • Team player with the ability to coordinate across functions.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and automotive quality standards is an added advantage.
