Role Description
This is a full-time role located in Ahmedabad for a Sales Executive – Pharma & Chemical (Automation / Software Solutions). The Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, securing new business, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets within the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting potential clients, preparing and delivering presentations, conducting negotiations, and providing exceptional customer service. Some work from home is acceptable.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in the Pharma and Chemical sectors.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective customers and conduct market research to identify emerging trends.
- Engage with customers to understand their digitalization and automation needs and position the right solutions.
- Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposals.
- Negotiate and close sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
- Manage existing key accounts to drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Coordinate with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure accurate solution scoping and execution.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, seminars, and forums to represent CEREBULB.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and respond to RFPs/RFQs in collaboration with internal teams.
- Track sales activities through CRM tools and provide regular reporting to management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation / Chemical / Electronics / IT) or related field. MBA in Marketing / Business is a plus.
- 3–8 years of experience in B2B solution sales, preferably in industrial automation, digital software, or Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Proven track record in selling to Pharmaceutical and Chemical manufacturing industries.
- Good understanding of process industries, automation systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS), and/or software platforms (MES, Historian, PI System, Analytics, Cloud).
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
