Position Overview:

As an Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the financial records and reporting for our platform, including fiat, digital assets, futures, and margin transactions. You will ensure the accurate and timely reporting of financial data for both internal and external purposes while supporting new product launches and initiatives within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage daily reconciliations of digital assets and fiat transactions across multiple bank accounts and crypto wallets.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in fiat and digital asset transactions, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support new product launches by determining appropriate accounting treatments for digital assets and blockchain-related transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including OTC desks, treasury, and developers to ensure the accuracy of financial data and processes.
  • Develop and implement policies for revenue recognition, ensuring they are aligned with both crypto and traditional financial standards.
  • Identify automation opportunities within the accounting function and work with the Finance Transformation and Engineering teams to streamline processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements, documenting internal control procedures for both internal and external audits.
  • Provide support for financial and regulatory reporting, ensuring all accounting records are accurate and up to date.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 7 years of experience in audit and/or accounting, preferably within financial services, fintech, or cryptocurrency.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and experience with ERP systems like NetSuite.
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency accounting, including the handling of digital assets.
  • Experience working with high-volume transactions and reconciliation processes.
  • Knowledge of SQL and blockchain technology is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working across multiple teams.
