Job description :

Design and develop scalable, modular automated test suites using Robot/Pytest Framework and Python for validating Linux-based.

Perform automated regression, sanity, and system-level tests across a variety of x86 and ARM-based hardware platforms.

Define and implement test strategies for Linux-based on x86 and ARM architecture devices.

Conduct image deployment and installation testing, including PXE boot, USB flashing, and recovery workflows.

Validate secure boot mechanisms including UEFI, GRUB bootloader, and kernel initialization sequences.

Verify Linux kernel functionality and debug boot-time issues using tools such as dmesg, journalctl, and serial console logs.

Test key subsystems including:

Wi-Fi/Bluetooth stacks

USB/network device compatibility

Peripheral drivers (e.g., audio, display, input devices, smart card readers)

VDI client integrations (Citrix Workspace App for Linux, VMware Horizon Client)

Automate virtualized test environments using QEMU, VMware, or VirtualBox to simulate hardware configurations.

Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins), ensuring early feedback on build quality.

Contribute to the design and upkeep of virtual and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test labs for 24/7 test execution.
