1. Strategic Sourcing & Category Leadership

  • Formulate and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies across categories such as HVAC systems, compressors, motors, VFDs, lighting, BMS/EMS, and energy efficiency assets.
  • Develop multi-tier vendor networks (OEMs, system integrators, and service providers) ensuring scalability for simultaneous multi-site execution.
  • Lead long-term rate contracts (LRCs) and framework agreements with preferred partners to secure cost advantage and assured quality.

2. Market Intelligence & Supplier Development

  • Conduct deep market mapping to identify emerging technologies, new suppliers, and cost-disruptive innovations.
  • Carry out detailed vendor audits covering technical capability, financial strength, quality control, and service responsiveness.
  • Build strategic alliances with niche technology firms and component manufacturers for specialized efficiency solutions.

3. Procurement Execution & Negotiation Excellence

  • Lead end-to-end procurement RFQs, bid analysis, techno-commercial evaluations, negotiation, contracting, and PO finalization.
  • Drive total-cost-of-ownership (TCO) optimization by balancing upfront cost with lifecycle energy performance and warranty coverage.
  • Oversee logistics coordination, material inspection, and vendor documentation to ensure seamless project execution.

4. Contracting & Governance

  • Draft and negotiate contractual frameworks aligned with ESPC and EPC models, ensuring risk balance, delivery guarantees, and service KPIs.
  • Maintain full compliance with statutory procurement guidelines, company policies, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance to manage advance payments, performance guarantees, LD clauses, and warranty tracking.

5. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Engineering, Projects, and M&V teams to ensure procurement aligns with design intent and technical performance.
  • Serve as a strategic interface with clients and OEM partners during project kick-offs, audits, and validations.
  • Mentor a team of procurement professionals and build digital sourcing dashboards integrated with Energeias ERP/EMS systems.
