We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide accurate financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to oversee junior accounting staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
  • Ensure timely closing of books and accurate financial reporting.
  • Supervise and guide junior accountants and accounting staff.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and expense management.
  • Handle VAT/GST returns, tax filings, and ensure compliance with local tax laws.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Support management in financial planning, investment analysis, and risk assessment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA/CA/ACCA preferred).
  • 5–8 years of proven accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced MS Excel and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
