Role: Tech Lead

Location: Pune, India (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced TechLead with a deep understanding of the Microsoft Data Technology stack. The candidate should have 8-10 years of professional experience, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage and mentor a team of 5 to 8 people. As a TechLead, you will ensure the successful execution of data and analytics projects while maintaining high-quality standards and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Delivery & Management:

o Involved in the delivery of project.

o Help and define project plan, and ensure timelines are met in project delivery.

o Maintain quality control and ensure client satisfaction at all stages.

  1. Team Leadership & Mentorship:

o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5 to 8 professionals.

o Conduct performance evaluations and provide opportunities for skill enhancement.

o Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  1. Client Engagement:

o Act as the primary point of contact on technical front.

o Understand client needs and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.

o Conduct and do bi-weekly and monthly reviews on projects with customer.

  1. Technical Expertise & Innovation:

o Stay updated with the latest trends in Microsoft Data Technologies (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Power BI, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, etc.).

o Provide technical guidance and support to the team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 8-10 years in the Data and Analytics domain with expertise in the Microsoft Data Tech stack.
  • Leadership: Experience in managing teams of 8-10 members.
  • Technical Skills:

o Expertise in tools like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, SQL Server, Azure Databricks, etc.

o Strong understanding of data architecture, pipelines, and governance.

o Understanding of one of the other data platforms like Snowflake or Google Big query or Amazon Red shift will be a plus and good to have skill.

o Tech stack - DBT and Databricks or Snowflake

o Microsoft BI - PBI, Synapse and Fabric

o SAP as data source

  • Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
