Position Overview: Head of Marketing – Meena Bazaar

The Head of Marketing serves as a strategic leader responsible for accelerating Meena Bazaar's growth across 83+ retail stores and digital platforms nationwide. This pivotal role leads the development and execution of visionary brand, digital, and performance marketing strategies—driving customer acquisition, fostering engagement, and optimizing revenue generation. By partnering closely with senior management, the Head of Marketing transforms data-driven insights and creative ideas into actionable marketing plans that expand Meena Bazaar's presence and influence within women's ethnic fashion. Key deliverables include the design and launch of high-impact marketing campaigns, orchestration of cross-functional teamwork, management of top-performing marketing talent, and strict enforcement of brand consistency across all channels. The ideal candidate is an inspiring, results-driven innovator who translates market intelligence and evolving business goals into effective strategies that deliver sustainable, tangible growth for the Meena Bazaar brand.

Key Purpose:

To lead the end-to-end creation and implementation of innovative, insight-led marketing initiatives that dramatically increase customer acquisition, elevate brand stature, and ensure the continued expansion of Meena Bazaar in both offline and online markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and optimize a comprehensive marketing calendar spanning digital, traditional, and in-store campaigns to achieve ambitious revenue and branding targets.​
  • Design, launch, and analyze high-impact, data-driven marketing and advertising initiatives to build top-of-mind awareness and maximize ROI.
  • Oversee and grow all aspects of digital marketing, including social media engagement, e-commerce marketing, paid ads, influencer partnerships, and content creation.
  • Lead market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies; convert insights into actionable plans for growth and differentiation.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, product, E-commerce, and operations teams to align marketing execution with store-level and category objectives.​
  • Build and nurture relationships with external partners including agency and media vendors, influencers, and event organizers to strengthen brand positioning.​
  • Plan and implement loyalty programs, seasonal campaigns, and exclusive launches to drive both new and repeat business.
  • Monitor, report, and analyze key marketing KPIs, conversion funnels, campaign ROI, and customer engagement metrics, presenting actionable insights to senior management.
  • Own the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation and efficient use of resources across channels, while delivering on business goals.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and excellence.
  • Ensure strict compliance with brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and organizational values in all marketing communications and activities.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; proven track record in retail or lifestyle brands preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, preferably in multi-channel retail or fashion.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling brand presence, driving sales growth, and leading high-performance teams.
  • Strong command of digital marketing, analytics, and customer segmentation techniques.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, project management, and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, result-oriented, and collaborative environment.
