About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused
Automation Lead
to head our professional services automation team. This role involves leading the design, development, and deployment of automation scripts for enterprise clients, managing a team of automation script developers, and ensuring successful delivery of automation solutions across diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Delivery
  • Lead a team of automation engineers/scripters to deliver high-quality automation solutions.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of automation projects for enterprise clients, ensuring timelines, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for automation-related engagements.
  • Automation Development
  • Design and develop reusable, modular, and scalable automation scripts using no-code/low-code platforms or scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Integrate automation flows with CI/CD pipelines, test orchestration platforms, and third-party systems (e.g., OTP flows, protected screens, fallback logic).
  • Maintain and enhance script repositories, ensuring version control and documentation.
  • Client Engagement
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into automation solutions.
  • Conduct workshops, demos, and training sessions for client teams.
  • Provide post-deployment support and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Process & Quality
  • Define and enforce best practices for script development, testing, and deployment.
  • Monitor automation performance and proactively identify areas for optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and information security standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5–8 years of experience in automation scripting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or client-facing role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Mozark Automation Studio, or similar).
  • Experience with test orchestration platforms and device farms.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with BFSI, Fintech, or OTT clients is a plus.
