Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Head

Role Overview:

The Account Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing vouchers, assisting in reconciliations, and supporting timely reporting. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and proficiency in Tally/ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:1. Daily Accounting Operations

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system (Tally/ERP).
  • Prepare and maintain purchase, sales, journal, payment, and receipt vouchers.
  • Update cash book and bank book regularly.
  • Assist in accounts payable and receivable management.

2. Reconciliations

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
  • Reconcile vendor and customer ledgers.
  • Match purchase invoices with purchase orders and GRNs.

3. GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance Support

  • Assist in preparation of GST working, input/output reconciliation, and filing support.
  • Support TDS calculation and data preparation for returns.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance requirements.

4. Reporting & Record Keeping

  • Maintain organized records of financial documents, invoices, and statements.
  • Prepare basic MIS reports relating to accounts.
  • Assist in monthly closing activities.

5. Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams for accounting clarifications.
  • Support the accounts manager during audits (internal/external).
  • Assist senior management with financial data when required.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime or similar accounting software.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel (basic formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot preferred).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or related field.
  • 5 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply (optional as per your requirement).
