Job Description: Two-Wheeler Motor Dealer Technician

Position Overview

The Two-Wheeler Motor Dealer Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorcycles and scooters to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Diagnostics & Repair

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues in two-wheelers.
  • Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, brake adjustments, chain tightening, etc.).
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults.

Customer Service

  • Communicate effectively with customers about vehicle issues, required repairs, and estimated costs.
  • Provide professional advice on maintenance schedules and safe riding practices.

Workshop Operations

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop.
  • Ensure compliance with dealer and manufacturer service standards.
  • Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history.

Quality & Safety

  • Conduct test rides to verify repairs.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure vehicles meet roadworthiness standards.
  • Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and warranty policies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/ITI certification in Automobile Engineering or relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a motorcycle/scooter technician.
  • Strong knowledge of two-wheeler mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment and specialized tools.
  • Good communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
