Role Overview

As a Pre-Sales Security Architect, you will bridge technical expertise and business value for clients, working closely with sales teams to design, present, and tailor robust cybersecurity solutions. You'll be instrumental in technical discovery sessions, demonstrations, proposal development, and ensuring that client requirements are precisely mapped to Secure Strike's offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with clients in technical pre-sales meetings to understand needs, scope requirements, and articulate solutions.
  • Design and architect end-to-end security environments (firewalls, endpoint/EDR/XDR, SIEM, patch management, antivirus, DLP, CSPM, DSPM, IAM).
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend controls for IDS/IPS, WAF, SOAR, and OT security systems.
  • Develop technical blueprints, roadmaps, and solution demonstrations aligned with compliance standards.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, product demos, technical responses to RFPs/RFIs, and solution documentation.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and delivery teams for seamless client engagement.
  • Stay current on threat trends, compliance changes, and new technologies to provide innovative recommendations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support ongoing technical training for the team.
  • Build strong relationships with clients as a trusted technical advisor during both pre-sales and post-sales cycles.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years in cybersecurity architecture, engineering, or technical pre-sales roles.
  • Experience implementing security solutions such as firewalls (including Fortinet), EDR/XDR, SIEM, SOAR, patch management, and DLP.
  • Certifications strongly preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, TOGAF, AWS/Azure Security Specialist, etc.
  • Proven expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)—CSPM and DSPM experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO

  • Analytical and creative thinker adept at problem-solving and crafting tailored solutions.
  • Experience with automation/scripting (Python, Bash) and securing environments such as G-Suite, Microsoft Sentinel, and M365.
