Key Responsibilities:
1. Creative Direction & Design Strategy
- Define and execute the overall design vision and roadmap in line with Zeel's business objectives.
- Lead trend forecasting, color story development, and seasonal design themes.
- Ensure designs reflect brand positioning, quality standards, and market trends.
2. Product Development
- Oversee fabric design, texture development, print creation, and sample development.
- Collaborate with production and sourcing teams to ensure design feasibility and scalability.
- Approve final samples and prototypes before market launch.
3. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the design team to achieve excellence and innovation.
- Allocate projects, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of collections.
- Conduct regular design reviews and brainstorming sessions.
4. Market & Trend Research
- Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify new design opportunities.
- Study competitor products and global textile design trends.
- Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and design forums to stay updated with innovations.
5. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Work closely with marketing, merchandising, and sales to ensure design alignment with customer and market requirements.
- Support the product launch process with design insights and presentations.
6. Quality & Brand Consistency
- Maintain high design standards across all collections.
- Ensure all designs adhere to Zeel's brand language and sustainability guidelines.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong sense of aesthetics, color, and material innovation.
- Excellent understanding of textile manufacturing, printing, and finishing techniques.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design software.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking with commercial awareness.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Textile Design / Fashion Design / Fine Arts (NIFT, NID, or equivalent preferred).
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in textile or fabric design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in leading design teams and delivering successful fabric collections.
- Exposure to both domestic and international markets preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹2,000, ₹2,500,000.00 per year
